design problem
Our customer asked us to make a kiosk that would interactively show the history of a Baroque chateau. We needed to include a virtual 3D model to make this happen. The kiosk should be easy to use, with simple navigation, and show the historical parts accurately.
solution
We have created a touchscreen kiosk displaying a virtual 3D version of the chateau in different periods. We put a lot of effort into ensuring that every historical detail is accurate by doing thorough research.
We utilized Lidar and aerial scanning to capture the interior and exterior of the chateau in high detail.
We utilized photogrammetry to restore the burned-out areas. It involved gathering vintage photographs of the site and combining them with current scans to accurately recreate missing portions of the church.
